Felipe Fernández Atela

Mr. Felipe Fernández Atela, Chairman of Deutsche Telekom in Spain, serves on the board/advisory board of several consulting and technology companies, including Convergys Corporation in Europe. He also serves as an advisor in a private venture fund in Spain.

Mr. Fernandez Atela has been Chairman of the Board of 4D Neuroimaging (public company in California) and President and CEO of EDS Iberia, a prominent market player with over 3,000 employees. He held several senior positions in large multinational companies and actively participated in international hi-tech initiatives.

Mr. Fernández Atela holds a degree in Economics from the Universidad Complutense, an MBA from INSEAD (Fontainebleau), and degrees from other senior education programs from Harvard, Stanford and the London Business School. He lives in Madrid with his wife Teresa and his four children.

Arve Johanssen

Mr. Arve Johansen has been Senior Executive Vice President of International Mobile Operations of Telenor Slovakia SRO since 2000. He also served as Chief Executive Officer and Assistant Secretary of Telenor Mobile Communications, AS, a subsidiary of Telenor ASA. He has over 30 years of experience in the telecommunication industry.

Mr. Johansen joined Telenor in 1989 and has held a number of positions in the group. He served as Senior Executive Vice President and Head of Mobile from 1999 to 2005, and was Chief Executive Officer of Telenor International AS from its inception in 1993 until 1999. Prior to joining Telenor, Mr. Johansen was employed at EB Telecom (Ericsson Norway), where he served as Executive Vice President, and at the Norwegian Institute of Technology, where he was research engineer at ELAB.

Mr. Johansen received his M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering (Telecommunications) from the Norwegian Institute of Technology in 1973 and participated in the Program for Management Development at the Harvard Business School in 1988.

Menahem Shalgi

Mr. Shalgi was a senior Amdocs (NYSE:DOX) executive. He brings to the board over three decades of software and telecom industry experience. He most recently served as Amdocs' VP Business Development and M&A. He was responsible for leading the strategy of the company’s business lines, including CRM, IP, fraud prevention, prepay and OSS. In addition, Mr. Shalgi was responsible for investments and acquisitions, and in particular led the acquisitions of Clarify (from Nortel) as well as ITDS and Solect.

Prior to assuming the role of VP Corporate Business Development and M&A, Mr. Shalgi was Amdocs’ VP and Executive Account Manager responsible for Marketing, Sales, Development and Support of large international accounts in Australia, Japan, New Zealand, Korea and China. Earlier, Mr. Shalgi held a wide range of technology leadership positions including CEO of Wiztec at DEC; Amdocs Director of Software Development, and Managing Director of Amdocs’ Australian subsidiary.

Yonadav Perry

Mr. Perry, well known in the Silicon Valley VC communities, comes to cVidya with over 20 years of expertise in the creation and management of hi-tech startups, management of software and hardware design and development, computer networking, TCP/IP and network management. Previously, Mr. Perry was Vice President of Engineering and Cofounder of Class Data Systems, a software solution provider for policy-based network Quality of Service (QoS) in IP networks. This successful startup was acquired by Cisco Systems in 1998. Additionally, Mr. Perry served as the Chairman of the Steering Committee for Information Technology Standards, IPA, and SII, and was also delegate to the standards committee for ISO, CCITT, ETSI, and IETEF. Mr. Perry has a BS in Mathematics and Statistics.
