Data Retention - DRMap™
In today’s security-concerned environment, organizations are constantly looking for ways to block international terror and civil crime and prevent fraudulent behavior, all of which take advantage of cyberspace. Operators are therefore required to provide Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) with prompt and secure responses to their security-related requests, while effectively complying with regulatory constraints and protecting the privacy of the individual.
Moreover, in areas where adherence to strict regulation standards is mandatory (for example, Directive 2006/24/EC enacted by the European Parliament in 2006), operators are required to store their voice, messaging and data transactions for a period of 24 months. Consequently, storage of hundreds of billions of records is now required as well as advanced and proven technologies for timely collection, compression and secure retrieval and analysis of data.
Backed by years of proven experience in the development and implementation of technologies for mass data collection, storage and secure retrieval and analysis, Oracle and cVidya introduce DRMap™, an innovative joint data-retention solution.
DRMap’s superb performance provides operators with a future-proof solution powered by Oracle’s Exadata. Moreover, with linear data and query capabilities, secured data retrieval, RDHI support, automated information lifecycle management, graphical link analysis and location spotting in near real time, they benefit from powerful tools for their records management needs.
cVidya DRMap V1.0 achieved Oracle Database Ready, Oracle Linux Ready and Oracle Exadata Ready.
