MoneyMap Usage
MoneyMap Usage recovers revenue lost due to missing or incorrect usage data along the switch-to-bill route. Common problems with usage-reporting processes include complex and fragile implementation, the variety of formats involved, and most importantly, the large volumes of usage data that has to be checked and verified. Another factor is the variety of changes initiated to accommodate business and operational requirements. All these introduce errors into the process, making it the prime candidate for revenue assurance and recovery solutions.
MoneyMap Usage is designed to provide a comprehensive monitoring of the switch-to-bill chain and ensure the correctness of specific products, services, routes, and of the process as a whole.
MoneyMap Usage provides operators and CSPs with a flexible definition of related measurable checkpoints along the network-to-bill route (for example, network, premediation, mediation, postmediation, and prebilling). It tracks any measurable dimension (numerically or as percentage); for example, platform input vs. output zero sum, number of outgoing calls from the network, number of content consumption events, number of dropped records in mediation, and number of exceptions. In addition, multiple measures that represent a variety of dimensions (service, destination trunks, duration, and/or volume) can be linked to each checkpoint to allow a hierarchical drill-down to any level.
