Prevent bypass and arbitrage

By-pass (in general) and arbitrage (for transit operators) is practiced in order to avoid high costs of terminating traffic. In these cases in-bound of-net traffic is disguised as on-net traffic (bypass) or cheaper traffic (arbitrage). In any case, fix operators attacked by either bypass or arbitrage, lose in-bound interconnect revenues.

cVidya’s FraudView monitors in-bound and on-net traffic in order to detect the indications associated with either bypass or arbitrage. In the case of bypass, a calling number generate call to a variety of unique destinations, usually with no incoming calls. In the case of arbitrage, the calling numbers’ parameters are treated. Here FraudView is configured to:

  • Detect suspected bypass calling numbers

  • Detect suspected carriers practicing arbitrage

  • Detect suspicious call destinations tendencies

  • Intuitive investigation via a comprehensive case environment

  • Powerful data slicing tailored to your Customer types and Service offerings
